Timber Jacks

It’s time to unleash your inner lumberjack and take up the exciting new sport of Axe throwing. They say that Axe throwing is one of the oldest lumberjack sports, and who would want to argue with the man holding the axe. You can play as a family or group and children 8 or over are welcome, so this could be a great way to work out some family rivalries (by getting the best score, not by using the axe on each other, obviously).

This is a bit more than the usual ‘Escape Room’ experience, fun though those are, this one is on another level, great fun!

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

Dare you cross it? And can you do it without looking down! Designed and built by Thomas Telford and Williams Jessop, Pontcysyllte means 'the bridge that connects' and is 'the jewel in the crown' of this World Heritage Site. You can walk across Pontcysyllte, or save your legs and take a leisurely boat ride or even hire a boat for the day from Trevor Basin. You can walk back along part of the Offa’s Dyke Path route and see the Aqueduct from the ground, but don’t forget your camera, the views are stunning.
