Percy Thrower's Garden Centre

Percy Thrower was a gardening institution in the 50’s and 60’s fronting Gardeners’ World on the BBC until 1976. And in 1970 he purchased this 40 acre Garden Centre near Shrewsbury which still bears his name - a little piece of gardening history. Today it continues to excel as a modern garden centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group, with lots of plants and seedlings to load up in the boot of your car to take home!
